On a mailing list I read about Project VRM.

VRM, or Vendor Relationship Management, is the reciprocal of CRM or Customer Relationship Management. It provides customers with tools for engaging with vendors in ways that work for both parties.

In connection with DMP’s Chillout Platform for interoperable DRM it seems that the Open Source Community not only embraces the implementation of Intellectual Property legislation but also the tools for expressing contractual relationships. The notable difference is that now that the Users own the Tools they can model relationships “that work for both parties”.

It seems to me that both Project VRM and Chillout are developing Tools for decentralization.
